Reverse campaign scenarios

What I'm talking about are scenarios where you play as the enemy.

I think there are some scenarios where this could feasibly work - the problem is, in most campaign scenarios, you begin with next-to-nothing. Some of these could work as singleplayer, some as multiplayer.

Here are the scenarios I think could work with this premise:

William Wallace 6
William Wallace 7 Joan of Arc 2 (against Orleans)
Saladin 1 (as the Franks vs Cairo)
Genghis Khan 3 (as a free-for-all?)
Genghis Khan 6
Barbarossa 1 (as a free-for-all)
Attila the Hun 5 (perhaps with another player on the Hun side to make it 3v3)
Attila the Hun 6 (FFA)
El Cid 1 (Alfonso vs. Sancho)
El Cid 5 (Berengeur vs. Valencia)
El Cid 6 (As Yusuf in Africa, replace the Black Guard with Spanish allies to El Cid)
Montezuma 1 (as a FFA, Spirit of the Law actually made this)

Montezuma 6 (this would be so fun)
Tours
Lepanto
Noryang Point Bari 1
Bari 3 (If you really work with these two)
Sforza 4 (FFA)
Dos Pilas (Tikal vs. Calakmul, able to conquer the three cities)
York (This would be so much fun, albeit so laggy)
