Lets say aoe2 civs are realistically portrayed, how would history turn out?

Obviously, they had to somewhat balance the game, and give every civ a fighting chance, it might not be historically accurate, but lets just stick with it.

What would happen if the Aoe2 Spanish came to America and met the aoe2 version of the Aztecs? Well, they land and starts building a base, Aztecs, being a much faster civ, rush them down before the Spanish can really accomplish anything.

Amazed at the speed and ferocity of the Aztecs, the Spanish retreats back to Spain and history is forever changed. They are safe on the rivers though, because as we all know, Aztecs has the worst navy in human history.
