As per the title, I'm really keen to learn more about the civilizations and history which is covered by AoE2 in a historical sense, and wondered if anyone could recommend TV shows, films or documentaries? I'd love to watch a show that really brings to life, for example, the Byzantines or the Aztecs. Lately I've been binge rewatching GoT and binge playing AoC so I'm on a bit of a medieval/historical vibe.
