Falling in love with any "modern" videogame? Any recommandations?

I feel like my feelings towards videogames just went down a bit. Firstly I will list you some of the most meaningful games i loved as a child/teenager/adult. Secondly i will talk about my systems and what games im owning today and my experiences about them. Im looking for something that makes me feel magic and makes me forget my daily life.

  1. Disney's Hercules game (Action-platformer) on computer. I played this forever and maybe it was my first game played ever(around age of 6?)
  2. Age of Empires 1 and 2 on computer. Was my first strategy game, teached me alot about history in its campains and made me fascinated about knights.
  3. Disney's Lion king (Platformer)on gameboy . My first gameboy game as a child.
  4. Pokemon Games following(on gameboy) the hype was real as a child.(Some games still played on other gameboys on highschool)
  5. Fifa 2000 and Formula 1 2000 on PS2. Was getting my first console by an uncle with these games.
  6. Games from Computer Magazines. Since i was a child and without alot money playing on my parents computer i got alot. Mostly focused on sports, rpgs, rts only few shooters(literaly everything what i could get)
  7. Gothic 2 (Action-RPG) was the first "higher prized" game i bought myself and was always beloved through my childhood. Probably biggest influence on my taste on teen adult games. Im still loving it today.
  8. Other Fifa Games and GTA titles on PS2 as a child until i graduated from highschool.
  9. Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos(RTS). My first multiplayer experience, playing it online with friends from highschool. Beloved
  10. Guild Wars. Was my first MMORPG on Computer. I was clueless but i loved it and its system of abilities and playing it with friends from school. Beloved
  11. World of Warcraft:The burning crusade(and bit leveling in vanilla). Played it as a teenager and was a good time. beloved.
  12. Warcraft 13 the frozen throne(RTS) on computer. Was returning to it with age around 15. Was playing it competitiv. Still watching online matches of the best players today.
  13. Starcraft 2(RTS). switched at some point. Still think its cool.
  14. League of Legends (Moba) Was my 2nd Moba after playing Dota(1) in WC3 a bit.(With around 18or 19 years)
  15. Dota 2 followed later. Still love it.
  16. Got my PS4 with 24 years and struggle to enjoy and struggle to feel a connection to any game, i literally just try to get trophies and finish them. Titles which i finished was Horizon Zero Dawn, Final Fantasy XV,Skyrim, The Evil Within 2, Resident Evil 2 Remake, Bloodborne and Street Fighter V but it never made click. I recently bought Witcher 3 and Divinity Sin. Also thinking about buying dragon age Inquisition(should i ?)

Today im a student at university and do not own a computer ( just a mac since another hobby of myself is music production, some old games are not playable or its complicated). I dont really feel like playing RTS or Moba anymore, so i think its not the fault of leaving the computer and playing PS4. is it just the age? What i liked most was the Evil Within 2 because it was a gift of my girlfriend and we played it together. I think i want an action RPG alike Gothic 2. Not as complicated as Dungeons and Drungeons but also some choices and some classes. I have high hopes in Witcher 3, Divinity im not sure since its more like Dungeons and Dragons.

TL:DR Im more about story and fantasy and roleplaying than shooting and killing. What PS4 games will keep me playing them after finishing them, and why im not satisfied with videogames anymore.
