Please Help!

I have not played age of empires before. A superior at work asked me if I had played age of empires before as I play a lot of games. Despite having not played it before I messed up and just replied yes as I was nervous.

He then asked me what my best "Pilgrimage" time was (I found out just recently that he meant Scrimmage and not Pilgrimage).

Having already dug my grave I replied that it was 25 minutes. He and the others around him seemed impressed and that's when I knew I fucked up.

So in a nutshell how impressive is 25 minutes. Is that something that can be done? If so can I get to that level quickly as I am sure I will be invited to play it the next time they play and I don't think I can get out.
