Hello all! Im returning from a hiatus and have recently started streaming. I just achieved affiliate status due to the giant hearts of BacT, Hera, and MBL hosting me. Much love to you all and a very special thanks to MattSalsa for a very generous donation! Salsa is a legend!

I've decided to host a tourney for low to mid Elo players so that I may get some casting practice in while allowing those who haven't experienced a tournament stage a chance to show their skills! I plan on hosting many tournaments as my channel grows and this will be relatively modest so I can get a feel for casting! There will be a small prize pool for the participants. Again, the main focus here is for players to get their chance to experience a tournament setting and as such the prize pool will not be substantial. Later tournaments and leagues I host will have larger prize pools and Elo ranges, this is a test run, if you will.

Guidelines and rules below!

• $100 total prize pool. I apologize that this is small, if I could make it more substantial I would. This will be my first time casting and as such the prize money is a lesser part of this tournament. The focus being on lower Elo players getting to experience a competitive stage on a stream. I apologize for this and let me say again, later tournaments that I host WILL have much more substantial prize pools.

• 16 players

• Elo Range will be between 1350 and 1650 (may change range after feedback).

• Minimum 100 games in 1v1 MS lobby.

• Higher Elo of the two players decides if they wish to be player 1 or player 2.

• All games on standard Arabia.

• All games to be played on latest WK mod.

• 1 remake per person per round before the 5 minute mark. The reasoning for 5 minutes instead of 4 minutes is simply because this Elo Range won't have the speed of 2k+ tournaments. For glitched maps admin rematch will be made at no loss of re for either player.

• Round of 16 will be best of 3. Losing players receive $0.

• 0 Bans

• Civs picked a, bb, aa, b

• I apologize for this tier not receiving a prize, I am open to suggestions to compensate these players. Potentially merchandise from my stream labs store once my artist friend finishes his designs, most likely a signed (by myself and the artist) canvas / poster. Please note POTENTIALLY.

• Round of 8 will be best of 5. Losing players will receive $5.

• 1 Ban for each player. ( 2 total bans )

• Civs picked a, bb, aa, bb, aa, b

• Round of 4 will be best of 5. Losing players will receive $10.

• 2 Bans for each player ( 4 total bans )

• Civs picked a, bb, aa, bb, aa, b

• Finals will be best of 7.

• 3 bans for each player ( 6 total bans )

• Civs picked a, bb, aa, bb, aa, bb, aa, b

-Losing player receives $20. Losing player will also receive 1 free hour of coaching once I reach 2k+ Elo!

• Winner receives $40. Winner also receives 2 free hour of coaching once I reach 2k+ Elo!

• Civilizations will be picked / banned. ( aoe2cm.net )

• Civs can only be used once per round.

• Civs CAN be re-used in the next round.

• Hidden civs must be turned on.

• NO TOWER RUSHES. I understand this is part of the meta, and after heavy consideration, I have decided to not allow it. I believe at this Elo trushing would be too strong. I would like for the players to focus on winning through macro and micro efficiency. I understand this will be controversial and will not be a rule for most of the tournaments I host. I am adamant on this rule for this specific event though.

*Defensive towers are allowed.

• As per the standard my events will have, players must refrain from streaming while in their game to avoid potential stream cheating.

• I kindly ask for other casters to refrain from casting this tournament. MOST OF MY FUTURE EVENTS YOU ARE MORE THAN WELCOME TO! I will actually encourage it for future events! The reasoning being since I am new, if a more known casted this their would be little reason to watch me and I am aiming to improve my casting ability. I would like as much feedback as possible.

• If for some reason any caster would like to cast with me on my channel I would greatly appreciate that! I apologize again for only allowing this on my stream and hope the reasoning seems fair.
