"Victory" against the Hardest AI

Alright guys, I'll try to explain my first game where I actually managed to somehow win against the Hardest AI after a lot of trouble. I didn't actually want to play against the Hardest AI, it was an accident since I didn't pay attention to the game options and started the game ASAP. I only went to look at the difficulty when I saw the AI go up to Feudal and decided to check the game settings.

Dark Age was normal. Since I'm not very good at build orders, I tried to do whatever I managed to remember from the FC Tutorial, and ended up going up at around 15 minutes, which apparently is a not very good time. What surprised me was that I was the second person to reach Feudal. I still had my score as the lowest though.

Feudal Age also wasn't very different. I ended up delaying my age up because I didn't have enough wood for a market (how amazing), so I decided researching some blacksmith upgrades while I put a lot of my villagers to chop wood, and then after I build the market I had to wait a little to get enough food (you can probably tell by now that my FC is bad) and then I finally clicked up to Castle Age. This time I was the third to reach it.

Castle Age is the most interesting, and also where the game ends. I was still struggling a lot to make more resources and start building up an army, so there were a lot of delays between getting a bit of troops. Since I had a lot of wood, I decided to make another town center and make a bunch of farms on the other town center as well while the other was kind of idle, which is probably one of my biggest flaws when playing normal game. After a while though my ally captured all the relics, and we were doing pretty well. I helped him invade Yellow's base with a few Long Swordsmen and after that Green started attacking me, which made me worry a little. However once I decided to build a Castle to scare the villagers chopping dangerously near my base, he came full power, and started breaking through my walls and killing whatever emergency army I started making to defend myself. Once he destroyed one of my town centers and was starting to attack the other though the relic countdown ended and we won. I didn't really like the way I won though, but atleast it's something. What do you guys think?
