1x1 Map Pool - Has anyone done the calculations on distance to resources or number of animals / gold piles / stone piles?

If I remember correctly map builders were able to randomize the resources, but have them within a certain range.

EG: Each player has a 7-tile gold and 4-tile gold within 11-16 tiles of the starting TC, as well as a 4-tile gold randomly placed on the map a certain distance from each player TC.

Useful information:

  • Golds
  • Stones
  • Berries
  • Animals
  • Wood lines
  • Relics per map
  • ETC.

Surely some super smart math nerd has figured out all this stuff by now?

If not, where do you read the map generation code to figure that stuff out?
