Interesting way to nerf Cumans

I’ve been seeing soooo many posts saying cumans should be nerfed so I thought for a while about what makes them OP and how the civ could be balances.

My suggestion would be like the opposite of the Indian bonus and make cuman villagers cost ~10% more. This will hurt their boom and most likely force them to make preemptive feudal army because it will be harder for them to stockpile food.

I’m writing this under the assumption that the steppe lancer will be nerfed for cumans and tartars as they are obviously working better than the devs expected and I honestly believe increasing the price of villagers to 55 or 60 food will hurt them enough throughout the game that kipchaks don’t need to be nerfed.
