Why did I get the highest score in military?

Hi guys,

Just played a 3v3 against bots on DE. My friend pointed out my score - I got highest in military however in the actual military tab, my stats are not as good as my friends. Worse kda, smallest units killed, lower razes, smallest army.

How can this be? I thought possibly military technologies or exploration attributed to it however I also had worse stats there. The only thing I can think of is being Chinese, I had a wide variation of units. Also I had more military early in the game, but not my much.
