I’m watching the show Forged In Fire about blacksmith/bladesmiths making knives. In the episode I’m watching now they are to create a famous Marine Corps sword called….The Mameluke Sword!
Per the episode “Rulers of Tripoly bestowed the sword upon Marine LT. Pressly Obannon” and “Originates from the Ottoman Empire”
Pretty cool how history makes itself present in today’s society and even cooler when it relates back the best game of all time AoE.
