Needed feature: Choose Climate

The update that AoE2 is desperately in need of is an option to choose climate / biome / region in random maps.

I often look to get a certain vibe in my random maps, picking the Civs and the map type based on a historic or geographic connection. Perhaps I'm aiming to scratch an itch with Franks vs Saracens on Arabia or Britons vs Vikings on coastal. I am fatigued of restarting eight times because I keep getting bamboo.

Yes, we have the 'real world' maps, but the scaling on those is rather warped and the randomness is a big part of the game.

If there is already a way to do this, my apologies for wasting internet ink, but if there's not, I'd like to humbly suggest it for a future update!
