So I own a copy of the officially AOE2 strategy guide from waay back in the day. A lot of the strategy guide included various rushes from a player named Out4blood. I have never actually seen about who this player was or if he was actually even a member of the community. They do actually have fundamentals of meta game (most were either flush builds or fast castle build).
