Before you even consider entanglement, doesn't wavefunction collapse itself break relativity?

For example let's say you have a chance to find a particle in region A or region B, separated by some distance. A detector finds the particle in region A, the wavefunction collapses and instantaneously the detector in region B knows not to detect a particle. It seems like information was instantaniously transfered from point A to B.
