Tracks in snow

I know that snow maps are super unpopular, but I really like the snow-tracks feature of them. I've been in a couple of situations where paying attention to them actually proved useful (for example, I once was able to identify and stop a tower rush, because I followed some tracks with my scout).

I would love to see slightly more mechanics like these, where the terrain is subtly altered based on how it is used. Don't have super specific ideas, but I imagine paths might shape between resources and collecting spots, or siege units might leave tracks for longer. I also don't think that they should become some massive new game-mechanic, but they are just a neat little detail that I feel most people don't appreciate that much.

Anyone else feel that way?
