AOE2 has always been my favorite game ever since the age of kings demo. Until I knew about voobly, it got even better, cuz i though"cool, now i can enjoy this incredible game with people". Left voobly for 2 or 3 years, for some cod addiction, but came back this year. And Im very disappointed to find out it hasnt changed.. A BIT.
The rooms(In Medieval Siege) are literally just arabia TG, 1v1, 1v1 hun war, or BF, or some Nomad. THATS IT. I swear to god i feel like the tons of other maps dont exist, and the All Techs button is INVISIBLE. Like Wtf, i dont want to run the risk of getting bored with this game, and now im forced to just play boring ass arabia 1v1s, tgs. (Hate BF) "Host ur own room u idiot" Well yeah, thats until I host a damn room of the simplest form of non usual arabia or BF games(A simple arabia but with ALL TECHS) I swear to god not even exaggerating waited an entire hour WITH ONLY ONE GUY JOINED then LEFT INSTANTLY. And I explained to my friend who was new to the game and teached him it and told him how much diversity there is in AOE2, i swear there is NOTHING on voobly. Please tell me If i should move to AOE2 HD(Though I heard it has terrible lag and pathfinding stuff) and why is voobly so damn bland with games. Heh, at least in NPL i used to host some nooby random land map room and people join fast. I understand Arabia is sort of pro player favorite but, doesnt mean we should be boring AF in terms of diversity in what we play.
