Hi,
So I've been working on a small modification project which involves having a new civilisation and all that. And it's been working well, I have the new civilisation done and it's almost complete. The only problem now is that it isn't playable. I have a separate "civs.xml" file I made which could enable the civilisation to be played but only if I replace an existing civilisation. But I would also like to play with that civilisation, and every other civilisation as a matter of fact, at the same time. So I've kinda been switching the files, changing which civilisation to replace and all that, so I can balance the strength of my new civilisation, which takes a lot of time.
In the tutorial on how to make a new civilisation which I read, it says that it is because of the .personality files. So I experimented around and made a new .personality file for my new civilisation, but it just doesn't work. I tried to look at how major mods such as Wars of Liberty handled this situation, and from what I saw (which I may not be looking properly) they just simply added new .personality files, other than replacing the old ones.
So my question here is that what am I missing, and how do I make the civilisation playable?
I kind of think that it could have something to do with the aiLoaderStandard file but I have no clue and I don't understand what is going on honestly.
Any help would be appreciated.
