Hey all, I've been playing RM for about a year now (1000 Games+). In that time, I've managed to get my rating to the 1600s on Voobly (Highest 1658, Current 1560) but one thing I consistently struggle with is playing in the Castle Age.
I feel that I have a good idea of most Feudal Build Orders and am able to have the upper hand against even some 1700s in the Feudal Age but the moment I hit Castle I'm like a deer in headlights. I can hardly make a proper decision on whether to make extra TCs (and how many of them), going forward with the Seige Workshop and a military lead, when to send villagers on Stone and the ideal time to click Imp and with what amount of army. Result being that most times I leave my economy in a mess, make much less than the optimum amount of army in Castle and get run over by the opponent getting Imp much before me.
Any tips on how I can improve on this? TIA..
