Well, title pretty much says it. I tried printscreen but nothing shows up in the screenshots folder. Although I somehow found its location before, I also forgot where the screenshots are supposed to be located.
Weirdly enough, if I search for the exact phrase in Google 'how to take a screenshot age of empires definitive edition' I get zero relevant results. Am I truly the first person on the internet asking this specific question..?
For future reference: this is with regard to the AoE:DE game from the Windows Store.
