Looking into some old games..

Oh man, so I really dont know where to begin. I was going through some abandonware, revisiting my childhood. I couldnt figure out what the name of the game was. So I decided why not check out reddit, was logged into this account still. Its been awhile... But it was during the Vista/XP days, back when PCs were becoming more common. This was the early 2000s. So I am not sure where to begin, but let me explain some of the game. It was on those knock off apple PCs if I remember, yknow with the blue coating on the back? It was a small pixel game that you could play. The controls were not very clear, but you had control of a black truck. If you didn't know how to control the truck, it would overheat and break down. It was very difficult from my memory, I am not sure if it was a educational game or purely for fun.

The second game that came to mind was a RTS game I played back when GameTap was popular. You controlled many small, a 8 pixel big soldiers enmass. It was very fun, but I do not know any pixelated RTS games. (Not Age Of Empires, think even more low res)

Any ideas? I will be willing to give more info! This is coming all from memory.
