Steam and Games in China Discussion - Gamers in China let's make a list of what works or not !

I have already contacted the mods for an OK on this thread

I want to know if you're gaming in China, how is your steam connection ?and on what games ?

for example ... and prepare to be surprised that older and newer games dont or do work lmao

steam itself works fine steam community is blocked , including achievements and profiles

Games:

Age of Empires 2 HD works okay sometimes. me and my friend who are both in China cant connect. some lag

Terraria has a lot of lag. a dedicated server helps, but it lags in the evening for me

Payday 2 plays like we are all playing different games

Total War games connect but may drop out when loading a battle . the battles dont lag that much

Warhammer Verminitide 1 and 2 work well except on some evenings

The Forest works perfectly

Garry's Mod lags when you host yourself

Left for Dead 2 works well, just a little lag when it gets busy

Dead by Daylight works perfectly

Doom 3 COOP using opencoop works perfectly

Resident Evil 5 works well, but sometimes lags and disconnects

We were here works perfectly

Cry of Fear doesn't work, with and without hamaichi

7 days to die works perfectly

please post your experiences and let's see if we can apply some common sense to the great messed up internet of China
