As it says in the title.... Whose half-baked idea was it to put in a bunch of trees that have random, semi-invisible gaps between them in a game where walling is a SUPER IMPORTANT part of defending your base from the 5 million Magyar players who always always Scout rush you. Just look at this image: Where can the enemy get in my base? A) Through the trees on the right?B) On that tile next to the water? (Which, fun fact, can't build a palisade on that tile, yet the enemy can walk on it!?! Okay.)C) Squeeze between the water and the trees on the right of the pond like a mouse? D) ALL OF THE ABOVE. OF COURSE IT'S ALL OF THE ABOVE. I know that overall the maps in ranked are a bit of a joke overall right now, but one easy way to make ranked a bit more of a level playing field is to exclude this pathetic tileset. It turns walling into a non-viable option, in my opinion. Either you try to wall a decent-sized enclosure and inevitably miss a spot, or you wall of a shoebox like you're buying a Manhattan apartment. [link] [comments] |
