Favorite Civs? Worst Civs?

Played at least 1 game as each civ, just to see what they were good/bad at.

I enjoyed the Vikings for relearning the game (have not played since 2002). They feel super solid to me. The free wheelbarrow upgrade helps get through Feudal, so it gets you passed the early poor early navy.

Just played a game as the Goths? Absurd. The actual river of infantry was so satisfying. Hard to not stone wall choke points though. That is the ONLY downside to the Goths imo.

Tartars are the worst. When I read Flaming Camel (petard) i assumed that it was just a petard with a quick movement. Thought that would be amazing. Massed 60 of them to run through the enemy town. I got a gate and a guard tower. Flaming Camels are hot garbage. I'm sure they have other advantages to playstyles but... not my style.

Got a friend who is very into the Lithuanians and Byzantines. Pretty much anything Cav based. Works pretty well with the Gothic infantry ocean.
