Team moats has to be the worst map of all time

It would actually be impressive if it weren't so infuriating. I don't think I'd be able to design a worse-playing map (that actually looks plausible, gag maps like forest nothing don't count) if I tried.

There isn't nearly enough wood inside the moat. We've figured the optimum amount of wood to give players to encourage expantion. Its the amount you get on maps like migration, or at the very least acropolis. This means that if you don't secure the middle, you lose. This might make for decent balance except that the moats are so close that whoever wins the first battle in feudal can completely starve the other team off of wood. There's no way to come back at that point. There isn't enough safe wood in your moat to allow you to invest into a dock/transport and build a second tc in the back, so you're stuck trying to sneak vils and military around the moat.

Its awful. And yeah I'm mad
