Why are people so harsh and toxic?

Hi, I wanted to get my feelings out somewhere.

I've been playing ranked I currently oscilate between ~1590 and 1680 for a while and far more than is normal I get lambasted unfairly over the game outcome.

Some guy just quits saying "<all>gg, I am playing with noobs" setting aside his failing in the game.

The other time in a game that I lost was looking at the stats and was sending chat messages like "wish I had pushed from the other side", etc. This guy shot back needlessly harshly "no ones reading this. first ******* go learn to play"

What's with this in this community? I play other games and no one is this harsh in the other games.

I am genuinely discouraged from participating in ranked because of this.
