Egypt Strategy

Trust you are well.

I was looking through Egyptian units and arrived at the conclusion that barrack units are superior for a siege op than midgol ones..

i cant have camelry as leading section of the column because they could be countered by infantry, so i would rather have spearmen and then as the battle rages the slingers from behind will eventually get into shooting range for taking down any archers. the only thing that works in favor of midgol units is the lower production time and that i might need 24 farms if i were to put 4 barracks into full production. is there anything i am missing?
