Time/gravity theory

So I was at a party and I came up with this theory that us probably kinda stupid and also probably flat out wrong but I was thinking about black holes and how gravity makes time go faster/slower and how gravity warps the space time continuum. All of this made me think, what if time and gravity are the same thing. At the moment it made perfect sense to me and it's really hard to explain now but I mean if u think about it, if u were to increase the amount of gravity that just you were experiencing you would basically be time traveling relative to the rest of the world. I know that Time prolly doesn't equal gravity but it's just something to think about.
