May seem like a joke, but I'm genuinely curious

One of my coworkers recently got a fidget spinner, and I was wondering about the forces involved. I'm not really knowledgeable in physics (only a passing interest), but I can think that, during a spin the forces that are influential are gravity, the friction of the air (not sure about this one) and the friction between the metal axis and the metal spinner.

My questions are: 1. Am I correct in my assumption of the forces involved, are there more, and which are they? 2. Theoretically, could it spin indefinitely in space?

Don't hate please (it won't stop anybody ofc), I'm not very familiar with physics.
