Was just perusing the RM 1v1 ladder and found the statistics mildly interesting, how many there are in each category. I like how neatly it cuts in half with each 100 point jump. (approximately, but especially at the top)
Note that this is obviously only in reference to active players.
If you are above 1700, you are among the top 7500 players in the world.
If you are above 1800, you are among the top 3000 players in the world.
If you are above 1900, you are among the top 1500 players in the world.
If you are above 2000, you are among the top 600 players in the world, although in actuality most of those accounts have decayed to 2k from inactivity and then stopped there at the threshold. If you ignore all the accounts with a rating of exactly 2000 and assume most of those are inactive, then you're actually among the top 150 active players.
If you are above 2100, you are among the top 80 players in the world.
If you are above 2200, you are among the top 40 players in the world.
If you are above 2300, you are among the top 20 players in the world.
If you are above 2400, you are among the top 10 players in the world.
If you are above 2500, you're Liereyy. (at time of writing.)
