Advanced Genie Editor - How do you create data packs?

I've recently downloaded Advanced Genie Editor, and I've been having a lot of fun messing around with it.

I understand the basics of changing units/researches... but I do not understand how to actually create a separate data pack on steam for my mod. Is there a specific place you can save the modded file to create a data pack?

I don't know where else to go for this information.
