I played when I was little, considering it again

The 30 buck price is very appealing, and if it ever goes on sale, I’d be VERY happy and apt to get it, but I do have a question, does it adequately capture the feeling of battling with gods and giants and powers, the way that I remember it(ok maybe not PRECISELY how I remember it, but I hope you get what I mean)

I guess I mean, that as an RTS, it could fall into a lot of the tropes that make RTSes generic, but I remember when I first played this when I was little, this wasn’t like the other ones, and I’m curious if that idea still holds up :)

Of course if it goes on sale, I’d be so much more likely to get it, but I am curious what you guys think about that fantasy.
