Any UI changes worth getting?

Hey guys im coming from Age of Mythology, as ive noticed that people play this game alot more.

Was wondering if there are amy UI upgrades or any way to see the total amount of villagers i have and how much i have on each resource.

For an example in the age of mythology hd version you could easily see how much vils you have in total and see how much you have on each resource.

Another thing is loom worth getting? And when should i start mining stone and how much workers are usually on it?
