Turks are curently an shockingly weak civ in every aspect and every map type because of major, serious structural imbalances (except in Arena where they're average).
Everything they can possibly do is outclassed by at least a handful of civs and there is not so much they can do to begin with.
Sipahi and CA are usually an argument people bring up, but it's freaking useless in 1vs1. Massing CA takes a lot of time and you don't get this time if you don't have an early lead, which you definitely don't have as Turks.
On top of being an very weak early game civ, they also don't have a deathball, like say Koreans, Saracens or Khmer, they just suck all around.
Few ways how they could get buffed imo
Civilization bonuses
- Gunpowder units have +25% HP.
- Gunpowder technologies are 50% cheaper.
- Chemistry is free.
- Gold Miners work 25% faster. (up from 20%)
- Light Cavalry) and Hussar) upgrades are free.
- Team bonus: Gunpowder units are created 25% faster.
Unique units
- 📷 Janissary) (gunpowder foot soldier) (Elite Upgrade cost reduced from 850F, 750G to 1100F, 550G)
Unique technologies
- 📷 Sipahi (Cavalry Archers) +25 hit points)
- 📷 Artillery) (+2 range for Bombard Towers, Bombard Cannons, Cannon Galleon) (Cost changed from 500G, 450S to 300G, 600W)
Technologies added
- Crop Rotation
