MegaRandom handicap seed?

Just played a match where the ONLY stone or gold on the map was on the opposing player's island in a 1v1.

The map was pretty interesting as it was like islands but the perimeter of the map was a thin strip of land with trees and 10+ relics. I generally enjoy MegaRandom as it makes for interesting and unique maps and I thought hmm ok this looks like it'll be a relic battle with trash units...until after I resign I find out my opponent has had access to gold and stone all day long!

Has anyone got a seed this unfair/handicapped before? I've seen 2v2's where 2 of the players will have gold/stone access and 2 don't, but it's at least one on each team that has access.

And if you are a pure believer in R&G, do you think two pros going at it could possibly win with the handicap island?

I love this game, but it kind of sucks to waste and hour and elo.
