So I just played my third multiplayer game. My ally got attacked. By the time my army was ready he surrendered. After this, I initially I tore down both the opponents towns, but the game dragged on and they gradually attritioned me away. Advise on what to do in this situation? I wanted to help the ally but I had barely started building troops when he was attacked.
