Civ idea: Cherokee

Cherokee (Siege and monk civilization)

  • Lumberjacks do not need to drop off wood.

  • Siege units train 40% faster, but have -10% HP.

  • Treadmill crane free.

  • Garrisoning units does not cause flags to appear.

Team bonus: monastery units move 10% faster when not carrying relics.

Unique unit 1: Shaman (trained at monastery). 80G, 40F. Monk with a melee attack. Has identical stats to a villager with loom. Not affected by blacksmith upgrades. Right-clicking performs the attack; use the Convert button/hotkey to convert enemies. Cannot attack while carrying a relic.

Unique unit 2: Cherokee Axeman (trained at castle). 60G, 20W. Fast melee unit that can garrison inside trees for surprise attacks (enemies can still attack the tree, damaging him). Same stats as Eagle Warrior, but +1 melee armor and -1 pierce armor.

Castle Age unique tech: Fanaticism (monastery units are affected by blacksmith infantry upgrades). 500G, 400F.

Imperial Age unique tech: Redwood Construction (siege units 100% immune to pierce damage). 1500W.

Unique tech 3: Hand Signals (researched at university) player becomes immune to chat censors. 100F

Missing: stable, chemistry, keep, fortified wall, stone shaft mining, block printing, herbal medicine, arbalester, bracer, ring archer armor
