Hello there. I've known AOE 2 since I was very young but recently I started to play it. I played a couple games against the easiest AI and eventually I was able to win pretty swiftly. Same story with 'standard' difficulty.
I now play against 'moderate' difficult and there's a couple things I'm clearly missing.
I always play with Britons (1v1 arabia) and reach feudal at minute 10, which is fairly good. Then I start working on gold to make my archers and some pikemans. Once I have a decent army and try some kind of offensive, I found that the opponent has twice or three times as many units that I do.
What am I missing? I'm building archers and pikeman left and right, to the limit of what my economy allows me to do.
