I have a friend with whome I play on a similar level. My early game is a lot better so I often get an early vil advantage, but whenever I try to capitalize on that in Castle Age, he goes for heavy monks (2-3 monasteries) and with repeated conversions, my pressure gets absolutely brickwalled. He often booms behind it and catches up in the lategame.
How can I play vs this type of defense?
