Question about Italians&Malay in team game

I like to play Italaians&Malays. They have bonus for aging, so can do age up easy. and they have decent archers and their infantry condos and karambits make funny situations.

I usually play them in flank and go MMA or archer. In castles usually xbow.

I wondered How think about them in teamgame. I think, they are some weak point than other archer civs so well I want to know how think about these civs with partner.
