In dire need of advice

Hello.

We are 6 people playing together, very old friends from high school (half of us have kids by now) and we love playing Age of Empires together.

We play 3v3's, and let me tell you about the skill levels of the players:

There is me, who can boom very well in an Arena game, can make 20 knights by 24 minute mark with tons of villagers. I can also wall very well and boom in Arabia, but will lose my knights to enemy TC while doing so. My archers shiver from being in danger from mangonels.

Then there are two guys, if untouched, can make good economy and good military, but sometimes come late to the party, wait until imp and fully upgraded, or sometimes just accidently kill boar with the tc and wander around where they are gonna get that food. Good players, but only sometimes.

There is another guy who's between me and the two guys I just talked about.

There is a guy who is better at 1v1's and rushing, sometimes he plays rubbish, sometimes like a god, I've seen him do 3 range cav archer pushes in castle age and they are extremely effective, he likes raiding, being annoying, and is generally good at the game. His 1v1 rank is about 1600.

Then there is the guy who's the problem... I love him as a friend, we have been friends for 20 years, we studied in high school and we sat together, shared a lot of memories, generally a good friend. Last week he played against Vivi in a ranked team game.

Last night we played land nomad, while we were struggling finding food, he was extremely lucky to find 3 deer and one boar near a woodline and a gold pile and put his tc there, then proceeded to trash us about, when I had about 60 vils and had killed about 20 vils from an enemy player, this guy had about 130 vils.

My question: How do we balance this? He outperforms and outbooms us and whoever plays with him get a confidence boost and plays well as well, we lose even if we give him the two weakest players. How do we balance this the best way?

PS: He cannot stand not doing pro moves and dirty tactics, like hitting and running with the scout, walling resources, doing a drush and killing the sheep&deer... things all of us hate, yet he still does them because he can.

I offered to break one of his arms to nerf him but he refused.
