No berry bushes?

I'm late to the game and only just picked up and started to play Definitive Edition. I've had the original for many years now, though, so I thought it wouldn't be too difficult to transfer in.

However, I've loaded up four games, and there's no fish in any nearby ponds, and no berry bushes anywhere in the vinicity of my town center. I don't recall this being a change in any of the youtuber videos I watch so... is this normal?

Playing Black Forest, Ludacrious Map Size because I like that, 2 players, one AI, resources set to Ultra High.
