I don't know, just wanted to share. Basically I hated the feeling of losing and feeling pressure for the longest time so decided to always stay under 1600 (I know pathetic). For some reason I was honestly afraid of fighting 1700s and above (thought they would own me) so I avoided them at all costs, it got to the point where I could beat 1600-1650 at an 100% rate so today I decided to Vs some 2100 which was hosting a 1 vs 1 anyone continental. I expected to get obliterated but to my surprise I beat him nicely in a feudal war and pressured into castle age causing him to resign. Thinking it was a fluke I started battling more 2K+ and ended up beating 13/15 today on maps like arabia, ghost lake, mega random etc.
TLDR: Just realized today the skill gap from 1600 to 2000 is very little and there is nothing to fear, I smurfed out of fear of fighting "pros" when in reality it was only my own negative thoughts limiting me. Just wanted to write this for anyone else afraid of fighting higher ratings, there are probably quite a few people who do so.
