Genghis Khan 3 - Into China. I'm tearing my hair out here.

How do I obliterate Jin off the face of this map/destroy their wonder? They are giving me the worst headache.

I've tried:

1) Making a forward base on the northern tip of Jin's island in preparation so I can send a havoc/kamikaze squad in once they start building / before they upgrade their units. I throw together a ton of pikes in anticipation of their cav. No dice - I get swarmed by everything out of the gate.

2) Making a forward base on the Engineers old island and building up a siege army of about 3-4 rams, 10 cavaliers, a few mangudai, a few pikes and shoving them onto transports. Ahead of my transports, I sent 3-4 cannon galleons, 7-9 fire ships and 2-3 demo ships to try and put a dent in Jins fleet and take out the dock/towers in the northern 'bay' area. Fleet does the job, but my landing troops are quickly swarmed by the cavaliers and pigeonholed by the castle just inside the northern bay.

3) Crying into my cereal.

So, yeah, any help for this noob would be appreciated my dudes
