There are few games I have been hyped for as much as for AoE2:DE. If done correctly, this could be the revival of casual, non-professional LAN RTS. Hanging around with friends in a polished, yet timeless classic everyone knows how to play.
Sadly, I am a 100% convinced that they will fuck this up. Have it be a Windows 10 exclusive release. Have it be overpriced after already fucking us over with AoE2:HD. Have it be bugged and never properly fixed.
It is heartbreaking that such an amazing game is in the hands of such a shitty corporation.
