Hello, I am new to aoe2 and got the DE version. So far, I love playing as the Chinese and just for a bit of role-playing, I am trying to beat the Korean Moderate AI on the continental map. Shockingly, they do not use their navy against me. However, their special unit is like a complete counter against mine since they have extra defense against archers. I would play a game that lasts longer than 2 hours and it gets to the point that I just resign since it takes too long. They create too many castles for me to raid effectively and I have a strong defense against them as well. It is like a game of tennis where I will go to their side, run out of troops and they will come to my side and run out of troops. We both run out of gold mines and rely on exchanging wood for gold and the relics. Is there any advice on improving? I know rushing them early on but that is not my play style and I like to be developed before attacking.
