If you could rename civilizations to fit AoK's naming sense, what names would you choose?

I'm a huge fan of the expansions, but sometimes I wonder if they should have chosen names in the way of AoK, for consistency's sake alone. Leaving aside non-European civs, AoK used dark ages cultures and peoples as names, rather than later peoples, or nations, polities, and countries. The more archaic, the better. It gave the game a certain je ne sais quoi.

Here's what I would suggest:

Italians > Lombards
Lithuanians > Balts? or just keep Lithuanians
Bulgarians > Bulgars
Portuguese > Spanish (or Suebi if you insist on them being separate)
Burgundians > Burgundians I guess
Sicilians > Normans

What names would you use? Remember, this is just for fun.
