So i didnt play for a while now and i became really rusty when i started my first ranked since my brake i was 860ish elo - not sure if my elo degraded or if i was really that bad but anyway in my past 5 matches around the 900 elo i noticed one thing that was the same everytime.
Example: The other player goes for a Drush and then commits into MAA i lost like 2 vills had loads of idle time.
Skip a few minutes and the points are kind of the same but my opponent went imp while i wasnt even close to clicking up, so i go for some quick raids as he probably doesnt have much military - like 3 of my knights manage to get in and snipe 5 vills and this dude decides to just resign... ? Like cmon dude i was dealing with your shit for the whole dark age and feudal and i get few of your vills while you’re a whole age ahead with a vil and TC lead... and you just tilt and resign?
This happened in all 5 of those matches, people get overwhelmed dont like it and just resign totally winnable matches.
Please fellow noobs if you decide to resign everytime theres a single enemy unit in your eco, DONT! Youre never going to learn how to behave under pressure - Yes you might loose the game but the experience is important and in the future could make the difference between a win or just a tilt resign go next, which is not fun for you or your opponent.
I promise you that holding against early rushes and managing to come out on top will compsate all the pain in the learning process.
