United States ATP

so we all know that United States can very easily get 3 TPs in age one, and get the train in age 2 for free by going with Rhode Island, making them very solid picks for ATP maps.

the problem with ATP however is that the longer the game goes on, the less valuable it becomes as everyone's economy starts to speed up and be able to start competing, so if you go ATP, you often need to end the game relatively quickly

did you know however, that one of the often VERY overlooked age 4 states you can age with has a team card that makes all the trade posts for your team on the tradeline provide DOUBLE the XP and treasures, making each pass often provide 200+ xp or resources, which keeps the tradeline relevant in the late game.

i particularly like using this with mercenary play and advanced saloon, as with Arkansas post, the trade post wagons you get can also make saloons, which will boost your population.

highly recommend giving this strategy a try if you go on a map where you can reliably get 4 trade posts.

Chinese immigrants, market, advanced saloon, age with Massachusetts, Boston tea parts, upgrade the trade post, Arkansas post, and you should have 3 saloons, 4 TPs, and plenty of coin and pop to buy outlaw. age to 3 with Kentucky and 4 with the one that doubles the trade route gains.

the other card provided by that age up is also nice, it sends a fort wagon and 2 culverins, just another note
