How would you feel about the option of instantly placing multiple-farm layouts?

I've been watching a bunch of aoe2 streams recently and one of the most tedious things I see players struggle with is trying to place a lot of farms in the lategame while managing their army at the same time. It takes a ridiculous amount of clicks and they end up with some terribly placed farms.

I think having the option to create your own farm layouts with a mill surrounded by 6,7,8 or however many farms you want, placed however you want, and put it down with a single click of a button would be an amazing QoL change.

Of course the main counterargument against this is that it makes the game easier and takes away from what makes the best players so good... but is placing dozens of farms one by one fast such an important indicator of skill or would it benefit the players if this annoying aspect of the game would be streamlined so they could focus more on other things?
