Recommendation for noob battle

4-5 friends of mine are gonna be playing AoE 2013 edition together this weekend, we're all pretty much noobs.. have played a few battles single player but little more. Could you please recommend short videos I could watch to learn the most important things to master beforehand ? Also, any civilization recommendation ? I seem to have seen that the Khmer are best in definitive edition but which ones would you say for the 2013 one ? Thanks
